TIL: My Laptop & Monitor need a few minutes to "prewarm" to settle their power consumption at ~ 170 Watts down from a 220W peak when turned on in the morning.

A power usage graph showing a green plot line starting at around 10 Watts idle, going up to a 220 Watt peak and slowly decreasing before settling at around 180 Watts.
